not really, as long as the world is great i dont mind. the story in the first was really generic and not amazing, but the origin stories and the choices lifted it up, but now they removed origin stories and you cant create your own character, but if the story by itself its great then i will be pleased. also their are still choices. and if the combat is great its still going to be a great game. and imagine if they co-op!


You know not every game has to appeal to the lowest common denominator

This one will actually be awesome because it will be similar to the fantastic mass effect games!!!!

Clearly you played on console where it was set on easy mode and required zero strategic thinking

Possibly, but the generic story didn't help, Morrigan and Leliana were the saving grace.

This one seems to have a much more fun combat system....that takes away half my problems with the first game, and Bioware are making the story better too.

Bioware are making this game for ME/Console fans like me so I am very happy indeed.

Excellent trailer. This game's logo has to be the best I've seen in a long time, it jumps out at me every time I see it.

I'd still like to see gameplay footage, though.

-.- it wasnt bad, i dont mind the change in the 2nd, as long as they keep the choices, although i am going to miss playing as a dwarf or an elf and being badly treated.

It wasn't bad no, but this is a Bioware game, I expect the best of the best. For me ME1/2 are among the best of the best, KOTOR was among the best of the best....Dragon Age wasn't. Hopefully DA2 will be....the direction they are going in is suited to me thats why I am hyped now.

what do you mean? i agree with you that they removed some great aspects of the original, but ultimately the game is going to have aspects of its predessasor and possibly become a better game.

DA is anything but unique (in fact one of the reasons people like it is because its reminiscent of WRPG's of old) and it wasn't an amazing experience for me

ME1/2 and any FF for that matter are on a different level altogether.
