GTA4 got as dull as dirty to me.  Can't say why, but it was just tedious.  Nico has a real bad life, and his cousin is an idiot, and you get dragged into situations that weren't fun, as I can see it.  Red Dead was more interesting to me.  Maybe, it is me, because I just found the western atmosphere more interesting than the inner city lowlife atmosphere of GTA4.

Vice City annd San Andreas were better than GTA IV, but RDR tops them all

RDR is better in every way. Ths is nothing positive i can say about GTAIV

I didn't think GTA IV was absolute garbage, in fact I thought 'twas pretty damn good. But Red Dead Redemption is still way better.

GTA IV's setting is dull and uninteresting, whereas RDR's setting is quite the opposite.

Riding the horses is a blast.

Based on my experience, Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer is more balanced than GTA IV's, and not to mention, more fun.

I prefer Red dead alot more then gta, just thought the overall game was better. Oh and with the new undead nightmare dlc coming out today, it'll probably be put it even farther infront of gta for me.

Red Dead redemption is just a better game hands down.
