Wow after looking at the pre-order charts I have to say that Fable 3 actually might have a shot at 2 million FW....I'm expecting between 1.5-1.8 million FW myself now.

This.  These types of franchises appeal to a specific set of gamers and we know we want them months and months in advance.

OT: Yeah 2 mill sold was a big ask, I guess a more likely target is 1.5 mill, 1 mill NA and 500k in EMEAA/Japan. Also psrock, it'll likely do more than 2 mill shipped first week, I'm pretty sure games that are expected to sell big over holidays get a big first shipment out.

it MIGHT hit 2 mil, but Fable 2 did 1 mil its first week so it's going to have a tough time with that. it'll probably do as well as Fabl2 did in lifetime sales
