those comments about discontinuing preorders must have been true. Though such a low total number is pretty bad for them to discontinue preorders. Crazy Fable 2 numbers. Wonder if it can hit 1.4mil in just America. It did beat halo odst in preorders, though it seems like a game that more people that are interested in it would preorder it. Nice boost for assasins creed for the 360. Black ops doing less then mw2 on 360 is pretty much confirmed now and it seems like mw2 will be ahead for the ps3 as well, all this for americas ofc.

I know All the pre-orders for kinect in chicago have been sold out.

So are we now saying that Kinect is selling out in the US? That is what people seem to be suggesting for the low numbers. I only see mostly anecdotal and with no real hard evidence that this is the case to back it up.

Just checking some of the sites a limey might stumble upon before I post the above statement and well I guess it is selling out. Last week though I am pretty sure it was widely available in the US. Well next week should be better at least we have the 2000 sold at HSN :)

WalMart - Not listed?

Toys-R-us - Available

God of War  deserves 500k week one sales in America alone unfortunately I don't know if it will even reach that much overall.

I think they buzzed the buzzer to many times. THe hype train left a year ago or so.

The question is also, how many xbox/kinect units are pre-ordered? We won't know until launch.

Are 360/kinect units sold out too?

I have seen some places sell out of the 360 Kinect bundles but I really cannot see Kinect selling out on the premium bundles as a general rule.

Do any of the GAMES or HMV's in Pompey have Kinect set ups? I havn't been in a while ..

Never go into HMV to be honest. I did go into Game and they had put a lot of effort into the Kinect plugging. Nothing physical on show that I could see other than boxes and artwork. They did have a board outside indicating it was selling fast only 40 no 35 no 30 no 20 left. Made me laugh, soon stopped laughing when they tried to put Overkill in the Overkill II case (The assistant spotted it though, still got the scratched copy of Halo 3 they dobbed on me bloody preowned crud).

Subway was nice though, probably should not of gone during the Great South run though.
