Seriously? 30 MINUTES??
That's ridiculously fast, I got hacked once, lost ~100€. Didn't call Sony for a while, tried to contact Konami because the hacker had bought expansions packs for his Konami Account, so they'd be able to track him pretty quickly. I mailed them, told 'em what happened, and said that I'd give 'em any information in order to track whoever hacked me. They replied relatively quickly (2 days later) asking for some of my Online info (not the credit card tho). So I started to wonder, why didn't they just ask me the last digits of my credit card? Two weeks later or so (took 'em a while), after a couple of messages, once again, with pretty bad english, and it wasn't my fault, even my english m8s lol'd at it, they replied "URHHH HUR DURP, YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT LOOK HACKDZ, SAYS U BOUGHT 2 EXPANSIONS PACKS, 2 EXTRA CHARACTERS SLOTS AND 1 CODEC VOICE PACK HURR." So I politely wrote 'em, another mail, explaining 'em HOW THAT'S MY ACCOUNT - MINE - BECAUSE I ALSO PLAY MGO. And explained as well, how they managed to waste 2 god damn weeks to simply check something I'm pretty sure it doesn't even require special access on the website. Sent the same mail I wrote on the first time, where it specifically said it was mine PSN account that had gotten hacked, and asked if it was possible for 'em to track the hacker. I also told 'em I was going on vacations, and I wouldn't be able to reply for at least 2 weeks. 4 FUCKING MONTHS LATER, THEY REMEMBER TO REPLY:
"Dear Nuno,
Thank you very much for contacting the Konami customer support team.
We sincerely apologise for the late reply.
Unfortunatly we may not assist you in this matter as you reported your PSN to
be hacked.
We have to suggest you to inform the support of the Sony PSN as they may be
able to help you.
Thank you very much for your understanding."
So basically, after stupidity, auto-replies, lazyness, they tell me they can't do what I asked 'em on my very first mail and advice me to contact Sony. Yes, because that's what I would have done if I knew how stupid they were.
Simply gave up, didn't try to contact Sony, it would take alot of time and they'd start to question me why I was only contacting 'em at that moment and not before and probably question why my PSN account's info doesn't match my real info and all. That was... an year and half ago. Doubt that today I have any chances of getting the money back, I regret not having called Sony :[
