Poll: 3DS or PSP2? Which handheld will YOU be buying in 2011?

3DS all the Way! Nintendo for Life! 415 63.55%

PSP2 of course! Sony's set to dominate! 238 36.45%

Total:653

3DS, I havent buy a psp because I dont find it interesting it has good graphics and some good games, but I think I wont used much other than listen some music while I commuting to my job...

3DS instead it has a lot of games that I am really excited to play, mario kart, paper mario, resident mercenaries, star fox, ZELDA, and the list could continue... ;)

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

I wonder if the touchpanel on the back of PSP2 means they couldn't do a touchscreen because the screen is 3D...

That and RE had me sold on the 3DS. Only I still have one big reservation: if the 3DS only has one analog nub, it means MGS3 Snake Eater and not MGS3 Subsistence controls.

One changed feature (the free roam analog stick controlled camera) made the game an entirely different experience, from unplayable (to me) to unforgettable.

Doubtful. I think they did the trackpad/touch panel so your fat fingers or stylus don't cover up screen real estate or on screen action. It's one of the big drawbacks of playing games on an iPhone.

That could actually be quite clever if it's mapped 1:1 with the screen.

3DS still has the lower touchscreen, which I suspect will replace 2nd analog camera controls for most games.

Snake Eater 3D is the first MGS port/remake that Kojima is directing himself, I'd be surprised if it doesn't end up being the definitive version of the game.

According to IGN the screen of the PSP2 is rumoured to be HD though, and the used chipset would make it ideal for use as a mobile media player(hooking it up to the tv and playing Full HD movies would be AWESOME).

It does seem like the PSP2 is going to be more expensive though. I wonder if it will be digital games only like the PSP Go.

I voted for 3DS, but that in no way rules out buying a PSP2 at some point, depending on the software range, features and of course pricing. 3DS almost has me convinced to go for a day one buy-just waiting for a solid date and price.

3DS, and this has nothing to do with the "Nintendo for life!" byline. While I also have a Wii, I am not faithful to any specific company, I just go where my gaming tastes take me, and the 3DS features plus games lineup totally resonate with me.

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

I'm seriously disappointed with the 3DS launch games. As a gaming device id have to wait till year 2 probably before it became worth the purchase. At least with PSP2 there is a chance it would be worth buying as a multi-media device. As it is both devices might get replaced by my _cell phone_ instead.

I am a firm believer that '3D' is a useless feature that doesn't add much to the gaming experience.
