qft, they are amazing, but after you've seen crysis nothing seems as amazing as it should be, so maybe that's it

 o.O I think you are insane.. its way prettier then Gears and COD4 looks great and is jsut about even. I cant run the game on max but on 2 it seems amazing.

Crysis' graphics are severely overrated, and the physics are often plain stupid, as is the AI. I boarded the hypetrain from day one, but was very disappointed when I got off and played it...
Tree and brush textures are horrible, weather effects virtually nonexistent, water looks so and so and the esteemed Cryengine 2 is no more advanced physicswise than the elderly Source-engine.
Don't believe me? Bump up the settings and try for yourself!
It's a great game, but the visuals are a real letdown after the ultra hype and bragging from Crytek.

 no sorry i don't agree with you, i think it's the best looking game to date (that is released)

I wouldn't be surprised if it sold a good 75-100k in week 1
