No, not at all, not even close. It'd be like Nintendo saying they'd sold X number of Wiimotes.
JTFC, what is it with people today....

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

AND as I said in a different thread: Many people might actually buy the MOVE for games they already own. Heavy Rain, MAG and thus not buying Sports Champions or any other retail MOVE game. People might also buy MOVE to play PSN games like Tumble, thus not giving away any data at all for us to "analyze" and stuff.
If I buy A PS EYE ONLY no glowing balls will Sony count this as 1 sale for the move and Likewise at nav controller? Does sony count that as 1 move sale?
This has been bothering me for a while now because a lot of poster here is keep on posting that 1 PS eye = 1 move sales and 1 nav= 1 move sale. Someone please answer this one.

In regards to software sales, what are the combined sales for Heavy Rain, Ruse, Tiger Woods, Resident Evil, Sports Champions, Eyepet, Tumble, Echochrome 2, and all the other recently released Move games? |
Dunno them all but according to both NPD and Charttrack, Eyepet was the top selling Move standalone game, and it did 30k US and 38k UK. Not exactly encouraging for a peripheral that's shipped 2.5m in the west...
| kowenicki said: You cant compare Every Kinect = 1 installation Who knows what it is with Move?.... nobody thats who. But really... what matter is the long run. Kinect will win imo. |
Also, we don't know what Sony is counting as a "Move sale"... Is that just the controller or is it also the controller add-on. Are they also counting consoles with Move bundled?
I don't know if Kinect will outsell Move by the end of this year. Move has a 1.5 month head start and Microsoft may have low shipments because they were trying finalize the hardware and software config of Kinect. Also, Kinect alone may be shipped in low quantities. We still haven't seen sell outs of the Kinect console bundles yet.
I'm sorry but I fail to see how move software is any indication of move sales. My brother bought 2 move controllers (he already had the camara) and 1 navigation controller. He bought 0 games because "they all suck."
So I asked him why he bought 2 and he said something like this: "So that we can all play LBP2 with the move when you come over." Too bad it got delayed.
He is using the move to replay Heavy Rain atm.

Some games can use two wands. Then there is the subcontroller. So if someone wanted a complete setup they would buy 3 controllers per person for the full experience.
Plus the camera.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
So since there have been several million PS Eyes already, by some people's logic hert Sony already had several million units of Move out ...
even before the launch!!!!!???
