Good Idea, it's way to easy to get wrapped up in "debates" where no one is really going to change their mind.

I always enjoyed lurking in those threads reading your posts and following the links, but you'll be all the better for it. Debating(arguing) over the internet is no way to spend your free time and it's a little weird/lame if you think about it. I see your point though in being compelled to correct false statements, which would then pull you into a debate (argument). I've fallen victim to that a few times.

thats a shame,your posts are usually some of the best ones there,they are always well thought out and have plenty of evidence to back your claims up.Still if it makes you feel happier,then so be it.

I understand very well. Passionate debates wake up a lot of negative emotions. I often feel anxious even for hours after writing my last post.

I've told myself to avoid debates for many years because they harm more than they do good, and I do avoid them mostly, but sometimes I can't control myself.
