Level 5’s PS3 exclusive online rpg White Knight Chronicles 2 has been in the hands of Japanese gamers since early Summer while the rest of the world continues to wait for an official release date for the localized version of the game.
Level 5 hasn’t announcement any news regarding the overseas release of the sequel as of yet, but fans of the mmorpg may be happy to hear that English voice recordings for White Knight Chronicles 2 has begun.
On August 30th English voice actor Wally Wingert stated on his blog that he’s been lending his talents to the “new” White Knight Chronicles game.
I started the day by heading over to Atlantis Recording to record a few voices for the new White Knight Chronicles game.
Also on September 13th Mister Wingert posted the following:
WOW! This was a crazy day! It started out with a long trip to El Segundo to the Mattel building. I’m voicing yet another new toy (can’t tell you any more about it unfortunately) but it’s going to be a good one! When I finished up there, I went to Atlantis studios in Santa Monica. When I was doing the latest “White Knight Chronicles” game, we had forgotten to grab a couple of lines. So I went in, did 3 takes of 3 lines and was out in under 5 minutes. WILD!
Even though Mister Wingert didn’t mention WKC2 there’s no chance he could be referring to the recently announced White Knight Chronicles for the PSP since that game hasn’t been completed or even released in Japan yet.

Level 5’s new US office in Santa Monica, California was scheduled to open by September of this year to help shorten the length of localizing their games.
With this news and Mister Wingert’s above quotes, it sounds like the rest of the world doesn’t have long left to wait for White Knight Chronicles 2.
