You can compare Final Fantasy 7 to the music of Beethoven or Mozart
after more then 100 years people still listening their music.
Same with final fantasy 7 i believe in 100 years people will still play it.

Speaking about music, there have been dozens upon dozens of remixes of the the entire FFVII score. It is fantastic.

But wait...!

The only people who love Final Fantasy VII are the people who grew up with PS1 as the first console they had and never experienced the SNES FF Games! I know this is true because I've heard it on the Internet!

How can this be!?!? Explain yourself! Now!!

Awesome.

Nice, I pick up FF6/7/8/10 all the time to replay slowly even though I've already mastered all the games (100%).

Right now I am replaying Suikoden 5, great game. If anyone like real JRPG's, buy that game or emulate it. I don't care, but you just need to play this game. It's great and the Game feature is awesome. Unlike most games, especially back than, Suikoden 5 gives you extra for your next playthroughs to make it not as tedious and more unique. Though I wish they allowed more custimization, but that is wishful thinking. Course if you never played any Suikoden games, I would recommend them all, except for Suiko 4 which is awful. Best is Suikoden 2, than 5, than 1, and lastly 3. 4 doesn't use any story from the rest too, so it's a great one to ditch and forget about.

Oh yea, they have Suikoden 1 on PSN, but know their are a lot of flaws in it, but it's a FANTASTIC intro to the series!

Oh yea, I wanted to say that FF13 was terrible. And I am looking forward to FFV13, but I am honestly scared. I hope it, the combat, doesn't turn into Kingdom Hearts. I want to actually fight like a turn-based style. And I learned one thing I hate in JRPG's is no random encounters. Idea seems cool to see what you fight till you actually play it. Would have been much better if it's just the bosses that are visible, or super monsters. I am glad FFV13 will have an airship and towns which gives you a sense of control, where FF13 didn't have anything like that and is a dull game. FF13 is the only FF game that I didn't enjoy, and will never play a second playthrough. It's very disappointing.

Oh yea, also I hated in FF13 how they thought to limit you. A 'level cap' that in reviews is supposed to be hard to reach, but I hit to for the whole story. By the time another section opened up, I have the points to fill that all up, and had to wait ages for the next areas to open up to me. What happened to you being able to pick how strong you want to be. You should be able to make a FF game as easy as you want by the effort and work you put into it. I hope FFV13 doesn't forget that people enjoy building their characters up and with this random encounters (to me) are a must.

They need to stop concentrating on graphics so much and worry about the gameplay, and what they actually offer in the experience. People can look past "okay" graphics to find a great story and game architecture. Just saying, I think Square is forgetting what made their games so great while trying to "innovate".

Woo. Nice to see a suiko lover here as well. I agree with your ranking, absolutely. Suikoden 2 has to be one of the most criminally underrated games of all times, its a classic RPG that was thoroughly enjoying. Overall the suikoden series have the background lore which really makes it stand out, and suiko 2 is the first to extend from the original story.

Anyway, back to topic. I am a FF7 lover as well. And yes, I grew up with my PS1.

ahhh....Final Fantasy 7! reminds me of rubby weapon and emerald weapon...good times...good times

i played through final fantasy 7 a total of 5 times. i racked up about 120 hours each play through..

loved that game.
