Forums - Sony - PS3 Magic The Gathering, plus Home Space, plus Expansion 3.

Supposedly coming before the end of the year.

Now I haven't played MTG in years, but still own my 2 most recently created decks as well as thousands upon thousands of cards, so yeah, this excites me A LOT!!!

Check out the video.

Cool, get my nostalgia on with this.

Time for hype

i liked the game a lot, but I wouldn't get too excited about it.  If you like MTG, chances are you will not like this game.  There is no customization at all for one.

So, you only beat preconstructed decks and can use them, right?  Probably connected to doing an AI being real hard for customizing anything, because of the metagame.

I have been in and out a lot, now out again.  As of now, I can't do it.  It is way too much of a money pit.    I end up playing with Dominion, which is a deck building game:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/36218/dominion

In it, you build the deck as you play, and have like 10 cards out of a randomize pool you use.  Never see the same configuration twice with the expansions, and only one person needs to own it.

What is 115!-104! by the way?  That is how many different starting set permutations there are with the base set and the 4 expansions.

Ah, I was hoping for more info on the Magic: Tactics game they are developing with sony, but i guess a third expansion is cool too, even though I haven't gotten around to the first two yet anyway...

So anyone played this game on xbox/pc? Is it ok or bland and repeating?
