Forums - Sony - A couple questions about PS One Classics on PSP.

Now I don't know if there is a thread about this, so if there is one, please let me know.

Anyway, I plan on buying some PS One games for the PSP a friend gave me, so I have a couple questions.

  • How do the games work around missing the second shoulder buttons? Are they different per game? If that is the case, two games I want to get are Silent Hill 1 and Wild ARMs 1, so how do they get around this?
  • If for some reason I need to re-download them, do I need to pay for them again, or does it work like the Wii service, and buying once is enough (at least for that system)?

to your second question:

as far as i know, you can download them 3 times, but i cant confirm it. (but you CAN do it more than once, that is for sure, i did download my games twice, the second time when my first PS3 died and i bought a new one).

to your first:
LOL. i'd like to know that, too.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Not sure about your first question either. As for your second question, like Crystalchild said, you can redownload each game a certain number of times. I believe it's up to 5 times.

You can customize the controls by pressing HOME.... you can set L2 R2 to the dpad and use the analog for movement for example.... but usely the anolog is used for L2R2

Thank you, thank you all.

Isnt it that you can download the game up to 3-5 per different handheld/PS3 devices?  I thought you can download as many times as you want on the same handheld/PS3.  Im not sure about this either but just wondering.

That may be true. Not sure either. I've never tested it out.

assuming it works the same as the psn games for the ps3....you can download it to up to 5 devices.  once tied to a device you can redownload as many times as you wish.

^^^Correct.  Which is why I love downloading.  Any time I buy a game, my kid, and my nephew get a copy, too.  Pretty sweet, huh?  I guess we (and people like us) are the reason PSP/PSone games have the kind of sales that they have.

Not only that.  You can customize everything!  The default set up for medal of honor sucked.  I swited em arond so that my reload was on the d-pad, my shooting was on the right shoulder, my directions were on the face buttons, and my movement was on the analog.  The game plays like a dream, now.  PSP is pretty cool.
