I need to know the following:

What does the Graphics Card type, Graphics Card Memory and Graphics Card Memory Type mean?

How long does a 6 cell Lithium Battery last?

What is RAM? Is 4GB RAM good?

Will I be able to play Guild Wars 2 on this laptop? (I know that the specs for GW2 have yet to be released but you can probably guess whether I could or not. I'm not expecting to play it with high graphics setting but just enough to be able to play GW2)

My laptop is basically going to be mainly used for Study purposes but I would be wanting to play Steam games and Guild Wars 2 next year on this laptop.

The model of the graphic card, like cars there are different models with different performance, with the amount of memory and if the memory is for the card itself (dedicated) or shared with the main RAM (shared)

Depends on what you're doing... playing games drains the battery more then surfing the web.

RAM is the memory that lets you run stuff.. less memory and it goes slower, longer loading times etc.. 4GB is enough

Should be more then enough to play GW2...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Just some waring i have a hp pavillion laptop and the power chip on the mother bord failed but i got it replaced and the battery has failed aswell.

though i might be because i have used the laptop on my bead and it could nt breath so it over heated till it has just failed.

When i was at the shop the person said that HP uses cheaper parts so they can get really good prices so they are know to fail.

But the specs seem fine for what you need

Thank you NiKKoM for your help. It's made things more clearer and understandable for me. Very much appreciated.

@starwarsjosh - Well I definitely won't be using my laptop on my bed because I had a friend also who used to watch movies on his laptop on his bed for long periods of time and basically the laptop overheated and broke. After I heard that I was like "fuck that, I ain't doing shit with my laptop on beds' lol. But thanks for the heads up. Might have to apply for an extended warranty as well then.
