Physics-based puzzler Cut the Rope has become the fastest selling game on the App Store. Publisher Chillingo and developer ZeptoLab have sold 1 million copies in just 10 days for $0.99 to iPhone and iPod Touch owners, and $1.99 to iPad owners. I wish I had a platform breakdown for that.
This is not Chillingo's first mega-hit on the App Store. Also published by Chillingo is Rovio-developed Angry Birds, the previous speed record holder for App Store sales. Angry Birds goes for $0.99 for iPhone and $4.99 for iPad and has racked up over 6.5 million downloads on the App Store since it released in December 2009.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing
