Around 1 game every month. but if there is some crazy sale then i will get more. Also Boxing Day i usually leave with 2-3 games. and on my birthday usually 2.

Well over 25 if we include steam but only 3-4 on release day at full price.

PS2 era (I was a pirate) - 4-5 a month.

PS3 era (no longer a pirate) - 3-4 a year.

Though the experience I have online is priceless.

I counted 40 for this year.  But that is mainly because I didn't have a wii (or any next gen console) for pretty much this whole gen.  I got a wii last nov, and a 360 last month.  So I have had to play catch up of 4 years worth of games I've wanted.  I still have a wii wishlist of like 22 games (not all listed online) or so and 10 for the DS

edit: Also I got a new PC so that allowed me to get some current gen games like RE5 and HL ep 1 &2

and for anyone that cares to look at my collection, the only wii games I had before the new year started were no more heroes, wii sports, wii play, elebits, battalion wars, and nights.  Possibly excite bots too, but that might have been january.

So far I have only bought BFBC2 and Halo Reach at full price on launch... mainly for the multiplayer

Single player games I now wait for them to go down to under £20 which happens very fast in the UK or rent them online.

I know a lot of people that has a Wii with only Wii Fit, Guitar Hero something and all the other games are illegal. Piracy runs rampant in my country, so they just buy the games that has peripherals.

Also friends with Xbox360 in a similar condition I have a few. The console plus the 2 bundled games, and all the others are bought from pirates.

They call me crazy for having a Wii with only original games, I bought almost 15-20 per year, all new but not all full price.

I've got around 95 PS3 games, 20 360 games and about another 20 PC games. So over the course of 4 years, I'm averaging about 34 games a year. That doesn't include all the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube games that I've been buying and it doesn't include the games I was buying and then trading back in earlier in the generation.

I usually buy 10-15 games a year. I have 35 games for xbox 360 and about 10 games for ps3.

25 or more (retail). Including downloads, Jeebus only knows.
