Wii Party debuts at 1/3 of Wii Music's launch. This was supposed to be the biggest Wii game of Q4. Oh the lulz.

FIFA is HAYUUUUGE.

Wii falls under 60k. I don't think that's happened... ever? Just Dance 2 will save the day.

Castlevania and Enslaved were never gonna have big starts. I see sales panning out like Mirror's Edge. I look forward to picking them both up for $15 post Christmas.

excellent ps3 sales, not much in between x360 and ps3 now, us should put up good figures and change all of that, japan will have ps3 around 19k, so still good sales for ps3!!

also what happened to wii party.. people shall cry

Especially when you consider the advertising it's had (at least in the UK) and that people expected it to push the Wii at least above the PS3.

Nintendo strategy seems to be to market the game on the weekend of the launch rather than beforehand. Rhythm Paradise, Art Academdy had slow openings I believe then improved as the marketing kicked in. I imagine this week will be considerably higher. We'll see on Monday via the PAL charts...

Man... Castlevania and Enslaved flopped on opening week...

I'm more inclined to believe that Castlevania will have better legs than Enslaved because it's a Castlevania game against an new IP.

Let me ask you guys - does everyone who seems to be supprised by low sales of Wii Party have even read the description of mini games it has ?

 

Castlevania did ok considering almost noone knew such game exists but beetween great demo, good trailers, high metascore and word of mouth it's getting it can develop suprising legs.

Enslaved will be interesting to see if it can outsell HS beetween both platforms.
