TBH, I think MS and Sony has switched places this generation.  The abandonment of first party studios from MS is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.  Even though I never cared much what PR people said in the companies (I usually ignored it and let fanboys chew on it), Aaron Greenburg is doing a good job in the bad PR movement.  I do hope MS goes back to what it was about at the beginning of the generation - gaming.  After avoiding the first Xbox with a 10 foot pole, MS had me for a while with Mistwalker being on board. IMO, Sony has come out with the best games this gen even though it didn't seem like it at first.  Of all 3 consoles I own, I use my PS3 about 85% of the time.

I wish Sakaguchi Hironobu  san would change is mind about PS3 and bring Mistwalker Games to PS3.

That brings back such great memories... Oh man I loved the days when the PS3 was being completely destroyed by my beloved Wii.. Do the PS3 fans in this thread know how great a feeling it was to see the PS3 completely implode? To see Sony completely fuck up everything they said or did? It was a great feeling and the nostalgia of it is rushing back xD

That said, the PS3 has really come into it's own now with a huge library of compelling content, Blu Ray skyrocketing in terms of popularity and after a very long time.. a decent price.

I've gone from being a Nintendo fanboy who could think of nothing greater than have the PS3 sell less than the GameCube to a Nintendo fan whose favourite console this generation is the PlayStation 3. It was quite terrible when it launched really.. Was NOT worth the price of admission.. But now? It's pure win.

I think this sums it up nicely. Putting sales aside, PS3 has made an impressive turnaround with the free online service, varied games library, new IPs and fun. I think it deserved to do badly in its first years though.

This song was actually very popular in our school, me being a PS3 fan had to endure it being shown to me all the time!!!!

But now 3 years later after all has passed it feels like SONY turned it around with the PS3!!

We have seen an improvement in online, sales and games quality........and I can have no shame in saying PS3 has the best exclusives now!

Did any of you see this song back in PS3's 2007? 

The PS3 has improved an enormous amount, which is good given where it was.

To say it has the best exclusives now isn't shameful, but it's still a lie
