My proof is from owning the game and looking at the play lists of people playing the game. And i don't see how it was repetitive. Each map had around 5different versions, and each game consisted of different skilled players and classes making each time new and unique. At most a max character would average 3 times the score of a new character, which is not really that high. |
It seems unlikely they would remove it if it was as popular as you think. I just remember trying to play the mode months after it was out and finding that every time I shoot at a guy he would be dead in seconds due to same high calibur dude. People might not have liked the multiplayer because it had to many people in it at once leading to very short lifespan so it was also boring.
Curious whether you played and liked the first resistance because I thought it did better in almost every way as compared to the second. But , if all you like about the game is the cooperative story coop well its hard to please everyone. They sure didn't please me with 2 as I preferred one.
