thats the point in me asking lol,a few 360 owners were saying PC domiation in games is my opinion, i want to prove them wrong in the most painful and embarissing way possible. TF2, CTF 2_forts, 100 captures. =]


Just show them pro CS and Quake 3 videos. That'll shut em up when they see 180 headshots done in the blink of an eye

Or go find ye old discussions about the Dreamcast version of Quake 3 playing against PC players and those poor Dreamcast guys losing with scores like 50 to -2.

The average console gamer is about the same as the average PC gamer, the only difference is when you start to reach top tier players. And i heard their was basically no difference between PC to 360 gamers on Shadowrun.



When developing Shadowrun, FASA Studios purposely gimped the PC controls, making them turn just slightly slower than they actually turn the mouse. That's how they 'evened it up'.



I know C&C3 plays PC vs 360 too. So Shadow Run and C&C3 are the only ones? Live PC is a failure.. geez.

I like console better for everything but RTS and Turn Based, I never got into FPS games on the PC, but I would probably like games like Ghost Recon better on the PC, but the only FPS games I like are Timesplitters, Goldeye, and PD

 Thats because they gimped the PCs controls.  Just like with Unreal Tournament 3 it was originally going to be cross platform and so they were going to be slowling down the game on PC to make it easier for console players but then Epic changed that because it was just stupid.

 Also they usually leave some overly rigged autoaim on on the consoles.  PC is 100% your own skill and the average PC FPS player could probably slaughter a high end console FPS player in a head to head match of a game like Quake 3.

The game was called 4x4 EVO (short for evolution).  It was alot like monster truck madness for the PC: Open racetracks with sparse checkpoints enabling the player to create some creative shortcuts.  It was a great game, I had the Dreamcast version, but online did crash quite abit.  Before the 2nd or 3rd patch, there was no countdown timer after the first place driver was done, so most people would just dork around hitting each other and exploring untill they were the last players in the room, thus when crossing the finish line were declared the victor.

I believe Unreal Tournament for Dreamcast also had a cross platform online community with the PC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Command and Conquer 3 and LotR: Battle for Middle Earth 2 both cross platform between PC and X-Box 360?



CnC3 and LOTR:BFME2 did not have cross platform play !!!
Universe OF War, if ever released on the 360 is supposed to support cross platform play.

ever play against anyone in cs the is decent? if not ill pwn u at it even if u play it using a duel analog controller. the big difference is the turning. it takes about 3-4 sec to turn using analog but with a mouse and keyboard ur talkin .5 - 1 sec turning. the only cointroller iv e used that is even coming close if the wii controller. ive tried halo 3 on the 360 and after fiddling around for 10 minutes i gave up cause it wasnt responsive enough and accurate enough for me.
