Forums - General - Judge orders military to stop discharging gays

Oh by the way.... funny story?

The people who started this lawsuit that got Don't Ask, Don't Tell repealed.

Gay Republicans.

The Log Cabin Republicans though... not the afore mentioned GOProud group.

It's Ironic that after all the promises made by democrats since... who knows when.  It's Gay Republicans who get the job done.

It just goes to show... you can't trust anybody but yourself to fight for your civil rights.

I like the part where the judge orders the military to stop discharging gays.

Good decision. I completely support gay people being in the military without having to hide the fact.

Beyond that I don't know enough about the US political system to comment.

Gays are too precious to risk in combat obviously

This video is a classic. Some of Onion's best work.

Seriously though, everyone knows gays in the army is a myth. People just do gay stuff to get out of the army.

End hate towards homosexuals in the military. Equal rights is needed for all citizens. Now it is time to push towards gay marriage. In my opinion discriminatory laws against homosexuals  are hate crimes.

Homosexuals are human beings and deserve full equal rights as all citizens. Anything outside that is a hate crime.

Canada had a similiar policy and reversed it a few years ago. Glad to see America doing the same. Gay's have every right to serve and die for their country. I admire and respect anybody willing to risk their lives on the battle field so that we may have our freedoms and rights. I hope that thousands of gays enlist to fight alongside their straight counterparts.

All gender's , sexual orientations and ethnic groups should be allowed to enlist and serve their country!
