Thanks for reminding me of splosion man, I'm definitely going to get that. Could you give me some info on assault heroes and the risk game?

@Toad

Yea now that I think about it I agree with you. I'm definitely going to get one of those games but I'm going to wait and see what other people suggest. I really wish the standard for xbla games was 800 points like it used to be, would let me get so many more games.

Perhaps just go with Shadow Complex for now. Hold off on Limbo til it's a deal of the week for 800 pts. I remember Shadow Complex was on that deal of the week last year sometime. I'm sure they will offer it sooner or later for Limbo.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

assault heroes is a top down dual stick shooter.  online and offline co op (2 players).  you get vehicles or can go on foot and you shoot people.  not very long.

risk...familiar with the board game?  they have a classic mode which plays like the board game and a new mode which adds some objectives for winning the game and special tiles which do things.

Yea I love the board game which is why I asked. How many people can play the game together at the same time on one 360 though?

pretty sure you can have 4 players offline.  if you go online, only one player can play from the system.

Also if anyone knows any xbox original games that are hard to find in stores now and that are good definitely suggest them. I bought Fable for 800 points when it was on sale and had a ton of fun with it. I also have Ninja Gaiden and Halo:CE so don't bother recommending those.

I'm going to go grab something to eat and get started on my stem cell hw but I'll be back later, keep the suggestions coming!

i really enjoyed Psychonauts.

I have a few suggestions, but I definitely recommend the trials first to see if you like them.

  • Splosion Man
  • Shadow Complex
  • The Maw
  • Perfect Dark
  • Defense Grid: Awakening
  • Limbo
  • Comic Jumper

I might recommend waiting for Costume Quest, from Tim Schaefer, particularly if you're an RPG fan. It comes out next Wednesday.

castle crashers or splosion man

Shank?

Shadow Complex for sure.  If you're obsessive about finding all the upgrades you can spend upwards of 10 hours on your first playthrough.

Castle Crashers is unbeatable if you're into coop.

Splosion Man is great for platforming, and is more difficult than most XBLA games out there if you're looking for a challenge.

Geometry Wars 2 is also a good time sink...

As always try the demo first, but these are my top recommendations

The blaspheme, not one mention of Toy Soldiers. SP keeps you busy, it also has split screen and online.

Well my parents had a party and my little sister let one of the toddlers play on my 360. Somehow the little kid managed to purchase 4000 ms points using my account >.>

Anyways I called ms and they won't give me a refund so now I need help spending the points. Suggestions can be anything including games from xbla, indie games and even games on demand for the original xbox. Here's a list of games I already bought before or have played through completely.

-Braid

-Undertow

-Bionic Commando Rearmed

-Marathon

-Fable

As you can see its not a lot. I'm mostly looking for games that can give me a long amount of enjoyment in single player but that I can also enjoy with my friends in co-op or multi when they come over. So go ahead and give me suggestions and help me spend my money

I read that as 40k then, I was like FUCK lol.

Lots of great stuff coming up on live.

DLC for L4D2 and 1, Alan Wake and Bioshock.

Comic Jumper, Sonic 4, Super Meatboy

If you spend 2000 points on content on live this month (new or old) you get 800 points back next month.
