So last night, I woke up at around midnight after a long nap, and with nothing on television, I decided to look up some Youtube videos. At some point, I decided 'hey, I think I'll peruse some GeneralMLD videos just out of boredom' <--- just because I had nothing better to do.

Now normally, on a site such as this, if I wanted to have an argument with someone on here, it could at least be kept civil (before trolls and what not come and derail the thread). But after watching a few videos, I remembered how much this guy is a freaking idiot. Every chance he gets, he hates on Sony, its fans, and the PS3.

Now as of late, I haven't been really argumentative with the "console war" or been jamming sales down people's throat, but what really got me was that MLD started using VGChartz as his source for condescending Sony. For example, "Move *only* sold 300,000 units in 10 days. That sucks!" (even though we find that somewhat successful) or "Halo Reach outsold GOW3 in 24 hours. Sony sucks because its flagship can't outsell Microsofts flagship". And my favorite one was where he bashed Killzone 2. "Oh Sony's gamers don't really buy FPS compared to other games? That's why MW2 is the highest selling PS3 game" <---- even though MW2 is the highest selling game on BOTH consoles.

Anyway, that's just a small taste of a rant I built up after watching a few videos. I thought I was passed all the console war mumbo jumbo and back to the roots of enjoying games, but this guy....this guy is just ridiculous. It's like watching Kirk Cameron without getting angry just because he's so illogical. I mean, he used LBP2s delay as a mean for bashing, even though it was delayed so that it wouldn't suffer the same launch problems of LBP1...

I was an acquaintance of sorts of GeneralMLD before his celebrity status. He used to troll on Gamespot. It's all an act, he told me himself he does it for the lolz.

I think you need to relax or you will end up like HIM. The thought is just disturbing. These "debates" have been going on since NES vs Sega. It's just not as prolific of opinions since main stream internet. It doesn't change that all YouTube is these days is the modern soapbox in Hyde Park.

So just take a breather and let this person be. It really doesn't matter. Now the guy that claims that Soccer is Satans game. Well that guy just get's me :P

no its not, he just says that so people dont call him a retard, hes gotten so many video responses in the past, that he says that he is troll baiting so people leave him alone. go and watch the video responses people do to him, in the comment section he calls them his bitch, and acts like an angered teen girl which has menopause.

ot: most youtubers which are in the console war are bad, infinite retro is bad, blackbond is bad,7th level is bad, yes they are nothing compared to mld, but they are all trolls who have behind them an army of fanboys, fanboys who enjoy listening to people bashing the system they hate.

they are all dumasses, but what is really funny is that mld buys his consoles because he thinks they are going to sell the most, hes one of the few people who are effected by the sales of his console of choice. if only he had a dreamcast last gen.

and I mean....in one of his vids, he said "Sony fans used to talk about sales all the time. But now that the PS3 is in last place, you look  to PS1 games as a backup. What happened to the sales talk?"

Like....who said the PS2 or 1 was the best because it sold the most? I played those systems because they had fantastic libraries, not because they sold 100M

I honestly think that if his videos rial anyone up, it's hilarious. I check his Youtube page every once in a while, they're always a good time haha.

ofcourse we shoudnt take him seriously, but woudnt you be pissed that their are people like him in this world? i mean the data is infront of his eyes and he manages to overlook it.

I think he just does it to troll people. You're better off not watching his videos.

@zgamer5: BLACKB0ND and 7thlvl are actually all right. May not always agree with them, but they can certainly make good points.

No, really- again, I spoke to him regularly a couple of years ago, he's doing it to get a reaction. I specifically remember him telling me his plan to migrate to Youtube to spread his fame and piss off PS3 fans (It's clearly working)

Blackbond was also a frequent Gamespot poster. Never really a fanboy.
