I got an invite yesterday. Was a nice little surprise.

I was pretty skeptical at first about the idea of multiplayer in Dead Space, but it's actually a lot of fun and quite well done.

a multiplayer beta, meh.

I  am in it,   and I have to mirror badgenome's comments.   I was quite surprised at how fun the multiplayer aspect of the game is.  I figured it feel tacked on but its quite polished, even for just a beta. 

As opposed to another kind of beta?

i rather have a demo over a beta. im not interested in its multiplayer, this is dead space, it doesnt need multiplayer, just a great campaign.

and co-op if it still can be scary.

This beta isnt even a beta , Its just a muliplayer demo wichs been slapped with the name beta.

Same as the assasins creed beta.

these beta doesnt even need any fixes.

A true beta is World of warcraft, starcraft 2 and Medal of honor.

Why becouse these ppl listen to the comunitie and fix bugs and change game aspects.

The game works fine but it needs some serious character balancing the humans are just to powerful.
