Sure, although a console exclusive isnt the same as a general game exclusive. I can play mass effect without a Wii, PS3 or even a 360. Hence I dont need a console to play the game by your definition. See the flaw in that?

Convoluted? Okay. Not entirely sure how that is even remotely related to the comment.

Anyhow, this isn't about your favourite console, as you'd just mentioned, simply what console has had the best 2010 game line-up as indicated in the title regardless of where else it may be playable. If someone finds both the 360 and Wii console exclusives comparable in quality, multiplats would play a huge role in discerning your preferred console for that year. Why exclude it could be played elsewhere on another console that you feel isn't in the running?

Why not simply title the thread 'Which console has had the best console exclusives of 2010?" As it is now, it is, effectively, a pointless poll as it does not measure the whole experience one would have with a particular console's 2010 game line-up.

If that was the case (which I doubt it would be) they'd have to call on past exclusives or/and multiplats, yes. But that would discount the Wii/DS/PSP/CDi in many cases, which would be harsh, because the exclusivesw lineup have been pretty strong.

Also, I don't know what I was on about above, ignore me :)

Funny how next year is the total reverse with PS3 bending the competition over and going to town. If I were to include HD collections PS3 would be above Wii.

Maybe they were just one-time off hitters, and people forgot about them? 

They were pretty early in the year...

Splinter cell is on PC, Mass is on PC, Fable 3 will be on PC.

Halo Reach is already there but Alan can be added :)

 

EDIT: You can add Fable 3 as Fable 3 will be on PC on 2011 I believe. We're going after EU dates so this actually works I would say!

Deleted all the ones which weren't exclusives. Alan Wake shall be added.

I only read the title which didn't mention exclusives. Bugger it, 360 was the best to me this year whether it shared games with the PC or not.

We aren't counting HD collections, nor are we counting any of the above games, unless they were RADICALLY different (aka Sonic Colours) All in terms of fairness.

I'm enjoying Atelier Rorona a lot right now :)

But I'm most likely the only one or so.

Much much better than WKC but surely not as good as FFXIII.

 

So I demand that you add Atelier Rorona to the PS3 list!!
