I didn't say he deserved success.

Hatred aimed at him, though, is a reflection of the hater, not the object of hatred.

...didn't I say that hate was a strong word and very clearly stated I thought he didn't deserve the success?

You seek justification for villification of a person because he is the face of a music that appeals to a lot of people

Yeah, it's not that different, and it's still immensely uncool

Still with that?

I will have an opinion of Justin Bieber, and I will continue to dislike the reasons for his popularity and his supposed talent. But, complaining about his talent goes into the land of subjectivity, and some people do think he's talented. My opinion is that he is definitely not and is popular for all the wrong reasons. I will continue to dislike that fact, even if some people love him to death.

And I didn't even say I had hated him until you brought it up, after which I corrected myself due to the fact I don't know the real Justin Bieber behind all his popularity. He doesn't deserve hate. The reasons for his popularity are not some to be admired though.

Anon owns that realm, and this kid wiki'ing IP adress and claiming to be a hotshot is asking for trouble. He used a topic a lot of people universally don't like as well making his situation much worse.

Justin Bieber has talent, and looks, and that just breaks peoples heart. Sorry, he deserves everything he has got. I agree with this kid, that the hate for Justin and his fans is over the top.

It is so funny to me all of the bad mouthing that people make against pop singers because they are more popular than the artists that they like. This would be like if gays went around pissed because 90% of people are straight. Pop starts will always be more popular, and sell more records. More people are born liking the pop sound just like more people are born liking the opposite sex. Nothing will change that.

Justin Bieber is going to be around for many many years to come, so I hope the haters will find something they enjoy. It is not a life well spent if you sit on the internet in anger.

You are saying that if someone is the most popular, they don't deserve any hate.

I am just saying that it makes no sense to hate on musicians just because they don't make the kind of music you like.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

I'm not a big fan of Justin Bieber but I don't hate him.  Some of his music is kinda catchy at times.  I love my divas more and there are a lot of people who hate my favorite singer, Celine Dion.  However, if it's not your taste of music then that's your business.

I was wondering if it would be fair to say that this kid is going to grow up and be gay cause my gaydar is going off full blast right now?

I think this kid should be sent a copy of Nirvana's In Utero, Radiohead's Kid A or Nine Inch Nail's The Downword Spiral and then he'll understand why people don't consider Justin Bieber a real artist.

Because then he'll have  good reference of other bad music?
