Love that fight. I beat him with Hades Claws (Favorite weapon) and the Apollo bow alone. It's not hard. Dispatch the clones and be patient with your attacks. It's a long fight but a bloody fun one. Though my favorite part is the 2D styled one before the circular arena where Gaia interrupts Zues's ass-kickin'.

You should try doing this:

That is a Chaos NUR challenge. NUR = No Upgrade Run... that means you mustn't get any gorgon eye, phoenix feather, minotaur horn or upgrade any weapons or items... you can't use any godly possession either because it would be no challenge at all :P.

I did that twice and the dude in the video is showing the best strategy to beat Zeus.

You have a full life bar, a full (but depleted?) magic bar, a full item bar and all weapons and items upgraded... and you're also playing on Titan instead of Chaos... so that strategy should give you 999% of chances to beat Zeus.

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

didn't plat the game yet, but beating zeus on titan was that tough(took me like  a half hour...no joke...on my first playthrough)

the only boss that gave trouble as that giant lava cerberus after you do the whole A-mazed event...took me like an hour to beat that thing...

I'd say you must dispatch of the clones quickly, when zeus summons them use heavy attacks immediately followed by widespread magic attacks

preventing zeus from regaining health is a must, also, can't remember what move zeus does, but if you block and deflect back at him, you gain a little health and magic I think...(either health or sparta rage)

Reload an older save file and keep your magic...

Use the L1 O of the Nemesis Whip on Zeus in that section and use the electric magic 2 or 3 when he spawns the clones. You'll get some magic back from the clones...use the cestus on gaia's heart when it glows...its kinda easy actually.

What I did was just get the right timing and press L1 whenever the clones attacked and whenever Zeus attackes with his lightning projectiles and chuck them right back at him. What I also did was stay close to Gaia's heart because if you do that, Zeus doesn't do his regen thingo when he charges towards Gaia's heart. Plus if you stick to Gaia's heart and attack the clones and Zeus with area attacks, you'll also damage Gaia's heart at the same time and so you'll get Green Orbs and replenish your health.

When I first played on God Mode, I took me a million times to beat Zeus because I didn't dodge or L1 much in the final battle. I actually kinda fluked it on God Mode.

Then when I played Titan Mode, since throughout the Titan Mode I had to block with L1 so many times, I got really used to it and then it took me a few times to defeat Zeus in the final battle but once I got the hang of it again, during the play when I defeated Zeus, my health didn't even go below half.

Dodging, staying close to Gaia's heart and pressing L1 in the right moments is key to Zeus' final battle.

I found th Zeus battle easy, but fighting the waves of enemies in hades for me was borderline impossible.
But just dodge more that helps alot.

The cerebus breeder ? I agree...that shit was intense !

Those satyrs were FUCKING annoying...thankfully, I used the gorgon summon from the hades claws and L1 plus X'd them to pieces.

Holy duck fuck, that went REALLY fast. Ill give that a try. Only problem is that I tried to launch him in air 24/7 and not actually hit him with the square of nemien cestus. Great, thanks!

Also thanks to everyone for suggesting dodge as I mainly tried to block and parry (and once you fail that once, you just get pissed off lol)

Ill give it a try in a few hours and let you guys know how it went, thanks!

I just spammed the square of nemen cestus on the cerebus breeder and combined kicking the dogs into his face until I came to the part where there is 2 satyrs and one head, then i spammed my magic and rage of sparta. I litterarly won that one with pure luck as I was just pissed. I survived with about 0.01 life left XD. I was so damn happy xDD.

I'm stuck at the same part ^^

edit: lol got it xD

I saw a video were the guy was only blocking normal , he didn't use the counter at all

and that way it's way easier

I always got hit trying to use the counter ^^
