I liked the first one,but it did lack variety. Playing as the evil cole was more fun to me. lol

I think that Infamous 2 is taking a bit too much from Uncharted. First the character model (thankfully changed) and now the slowmo in melee. I liked the first Infamous because it had its own identity. Hope it does not lose it in the way :(

infamous 2 is my most anticipated game, well next to FFVs anyway hehe, can't wait for move controls on infamous 2!!

it's the future of handheld

I'm playing through inFamous 1 right now. I'm finding it to be a lot like my experience with Assassin's Creed 1. The core gameplay is excellent and enjoyable but the missions and tasks are excrutiatingly repetitive. A few tweaks to combat and more variety in the missions (like what was done to AC2) and this will be amongst the gens best games (just like AC2 is my second fav. game this gen).

The preview sounds great. Looking forward to it.

yes exactly if they add more variety to IF2 akin to AC2 its gonna be a blast. im sure they will i loved the first game and il deffo get the 2nd

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

InFamous felt way too American for me to really enjoy. I did somehow enjoy my first playtrough. But since I went for the Platinum, I had to do a second "evil playthrough". The story is not very deep and the characters are not worked out well (Zeke....). The sidequests are once again repetitive and are adding nothing to the main story. The trivial story failed to get me connected to the fate of the city/people.

The evil playthrough killed it for me. It felt so disgusting that I wanted to stop playing half way through...I haven't found one single game where I enjoyed such moral/decision systems. They only tend to have you beat the same game mulitple times and every sequel doubles the effort you have to put in. In the end such systems only mean that you will miss something...or more accurate, they make me feel that I am missing something. Even Heavy Rain, really awesome, suffered a bit because seeing all endings means to play the same levels over and over again...

I am a but confused whether I will try InFamous 2 out. The first playthrough was quite enjoyable... but if I have to play the "evil Playthrough" again for the Platinum the series is dead for me, no matter how good the reviews will be.

I guess sandbox games/sidequest centric games are just not my taste...even if they are of "game of the year" quality. I prefer linear storycentric games.

I hope the storyline is even better than the first one

Really looking forward to this.
