Even old Killzone 2 beta testers aren't guaranteed a spot:

I think we need to set some things staight:

Killzone Beta recruits. You got that tag for being part of the Killzone 2 Beta. Apart from making the game better, we also wanted to give you the tag and blue name for recognition. It does not mean you automatically get an invite to every Killzone Beta on Earth, or Vecta for that matter. Having said that, we won't leave you hanging completely though. Some of you will get in, some might not.

Long time fans. Thank you for your support through the years. You have bought the games, you have played them furiously and you have never been shy of giving feedback when asked, or when you weren't asked. We think you are very important to the franchise, but it does not guarantee a spot in the Beta. Some of you will get in, some might not.

I know this is disappointing to some, but the problem is this: if we only open up the beta to the Commanders in Chief, we will get very specific feedback, good, but specific. We want to get a lot of different people playing the game. Having only hardcore KZ veterans will, surprisingly enough, not give us the best range of feedback. And getting the best feedback will make the game better, for you all.

You guys really think they'd want 1M people in the first beta? It's easier to improve things with just a couple thousand. Then when they want to stress test servers and work out things when there's much fewer bugs [which means having more people would be better when it comes to finding them] they let more in.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's 10,000 first then gradually introduce more. Why do you think the some companies like to do long private-betas and then a short public beta? (EDIT)With that said, I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't let anyone in after the first flock. 10,000 from just plus is a hefty amount(EDIT)

OT: I have classes 5-8 that day and the store usually updates around 6 (I think) . I'll be relying on remoteplay I guess...

Is it just me or do Killzone trailers always make the games look way worse than they are?

I'm not going to sign up for this service,just for a chance of being in a beta. It would be nice if you were automatically invited to every beta,if your were a PSN plus member. The service still is'nt worth it to me. lol

So nothing if you were in the Killzone 2 beta. *sigh*

I'm not really interested in getting Playstation Plus right now. Especially if it's only for a chance to get in.

I don't know if I can download the theme fast enough if I did have PS Plus.

On the Killzone forums, I asked one of the devs about that, and while KZ2 beta testers are by no means guaranteed a spot in the KZ3 beta, some of the old testers will get in, and it will be specifically based on the fact that way were beta testers in the past:
