You guys really think they'd want 1M people in the first beta? It's easier to improve things with just a couple thousand. Then when they want to stress test servers and work out things when there's much fewer bugs [which means having more people would be better when it comes to finding them] they let more in.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's 10,000 first then gradually introduce more. Why do you think the some companies like to do long private-betas and then a short public beta? (EDIT)With that said, I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't let anyone in after the first flock. 10,000 from just plus is a hefty amount(EDIT)
OT: I have classes 5-8 that day and the store usually updates around 6 (I think)
