Kinect will soon make right to this.

they won that lawsuit, google it, its the reason i made this thread talking about it in another thread. |
well it still sucks that Socom 4 will be missing it, at least we can hope for S5.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Kinect isn't the only camera with microphones, you know.

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped: the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA
bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

you dont need a camera for voice control, just a mic

You're completely right, developing it specifically for the PSEye or Kinect will give such games the highest compatibility, howevr. If you develop it for all microphones, the voice recognition software will be worse.

Yes but from what I've seen, it's the better one, point of reference? Eyepet vs Kinect demos

So you're comparing Eyepet, a game where voive control works perfectly from what've heard, to some Kinect demos which haven't even released yet?
Also, Kinect uses a microphone array, just like PSeye. PSEye has a 4 microphone array system, I imagine Kinect having a similar technique. So if anything, they both equal in that terms.

When I used eyepet, the sound parts didn't work well for me, one of the reasons why I stopped playing but now I've got Move, I might get back to it. Whilst I'm well aware that some Kinect demos are suspect, I'm still inclined to believe they can be better than the voice control of Eyepet.
Yup, for Kinect. You'll have voice command to replace buttons.
You'll say "A" to press A.
And if you need rapid fire. You're going to have to go, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA".
On the bright side, it's much easier to enter UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A
