Forums - General - Depressed lately..

Have you ever tried meditation? Just repeat to yourself "Peace, tranquility, love, light, happiness" with your eyes closed sitting in the cross legged or preferably lotus position(if it doesn't hurt too much for you), until you loose your sense of time. Eventually your brain will react and start being happy... I've meditated for over 15 hours like this and had it feel like only 20 minutes, because I went into a trance, and I feel so refreshed and happy afterwards.

To an extent.. Pressure is on at school.. last year of high school. It's getting to me that if I don't improve i'll become nothing.

My problem is, I don't know where to start on my problems.

I'm not being bullied. I don't get very much sleep either. I seem to always put sleep aside for one reason or another.

Then I wake up for school miserable.

Sleep is definitely one of the more important, and most commonly overlooked, factors in ones health.  you really should have at least 8 hours. 

If you are against seeing your doctor for whatever reason, you could just try a multivitamin and see if that helps.  All sorts of vitamin deficiencies could help cause depression.

Yes being overwhelmed is normal. But that's because you'd like to take of care of all your problems at the same time.

It's about taking care of them one by one. It might take time but the satisfaction of taking care of a problem should motivate you enough to take care of another problem afterwards and so on and so forth.

Perhaps reducing time-consuming activities like video games or vgchartz is the first step for you.

I feel abandoned by lots of people at this point. Nothing really stressful is going on in my life at this very moment, though.

I feel more lonely than anything.

so you feel lonely and abandoned which, in turn, is making you depressed. i can understand that, trust me. who do you feel abandoned by? friends? family? why do you feel abanoned? like, are people just no longer talking to you, or do they seem to avoid you?

im sorry for all the questions. i just really want to find out what's bugging you so maybe i can help. this whole "i dont feel like it's worth living"thing is really scareing me. and i can tell you, ive felt this way before.

Let's see..

I have friends, I'm not a loner. I get along with people nicely, even if its just talking to a random person.

Still I feel this way.

I feel abandoned by my close friends, my life long friends that I grew up with. I don't know why.. it's almost like they moved on, and I didn't.
