im waiting to see how the HD version thing pans out, worse case scenario the HD version wont be that much better and ill just get the Wii version for a cheaper price. In the meantime I still have NBA Street Homecourt to give me my arcade basketball fix

I never doubted it will bo good, just like I never doubted it will flop from the moment EA opened their mouth about the HD version with online.

They said they have a holidays deadline, and are trying to cram in as much as possible before that deadline.

why would the game flop after the HD annoucement???? its not like people who only have Wii were going to suddenly buy and HD console for this one game.

I actually have a better question to you - why do you think the game is flopping? My guess is you will say the Wii audience, right? Everybody knows it will flop, yet when it flops, it's the Wii audience fault.

@bmmb1  actually I was going to say that to an EXTENT let me explain. The Wii audiences were pissed when the HD announcement came and got even more pissed when it was revealed recently that the HD versions might get everything the Wii version got plus online plus a possible reduced price. Of course the game would flop this was a messed up move by EA im not going to dispute that and Wii owners are in the right not to support this. I hate the whole "no ads" excuse IMHO we live in the internet age of hulu and Youtube so people just dont watch broadcast TV like that plus if your a core gamer you already follow what is coming when, but in NBA Jam's case I forgot when the game was coming I saw no previews or anything.  Finally if your a multiconsole owner your more than likely going to wait for to see what they do for the HD version. Why not wait and see if you can get the same game wth more features for a possibly cheaper price??? YOu would be crazy not to. So the Wii is flopping because of EA

damn I want this game! Hopefully we gets some news on the HD versions before year end, if not I'll pick it up for Wii. But I really don't want to settle for an inferior version. 

Its pretty obvious that people who are most likely to have more than 1 console are gamers, these being the people most likely to buy or ask for this game as a gift. Very few gamers are 1 console owners. As a gamer I (as well as others in this thread) are waiting on word for how the HD versions of the game(which seems to be better in every way including price according to the early reports) before they decide to purchase.
