from the vids I've seen, this doesn't look as good as gow graphically...kratos looks too awesome to match....either way, I want to pick this up with a new ps3 asap !! can't wait !

The graphics are goods but not same level than Uncharted 2, God of War III or Killzone 2.

Killzone 2 is overrated. Its looks better than that single color, two environment game. The other 2 no it doesn't look quite as good but as I said earlier some parts it does and overall its up there with the best.

You have only played the demo? You can't do a comparison based on the demo because from what I've seen you only get the village section and the horse riding section. You haven't even been to the best looking areas yet.

The demo was above average but not great I think.

It has some nice voice acting (Patrick Stewart) and I like the presentation of the story, through the book and how it displays new moves etc.

The visuals are nice, they remind me of a PC RPG for some reason. The cut scenes are also very nice, especially the concluding scene for the demo.

As for it rivaling GOW3 (I played that immediately after) I don't think it's in the same league. Although admittedly it is just the demo I was playing.

Some things I didn't like: The very on-rails riding sequence. No visual representation of how much damage you were dealing to the worg, I wasn't sure if it was close to dead yet, after whipping it for a long time, when the action sequence to finish it suddenly started. The action sequences with the large circle shrinking into the little one. It just looked....strange.

Yes the demo is a bad representation. Those two levels are the worst I have played in the entire game. The game really starts to open up the farther you go, and definitely looks better the farther you go.

Don't judge anything you just said by the demo, the visuals get much better, and in the full game, And probably in the demo as well, you can turn on healthbars, and all those battle indications if you so choose....Good day

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

True.

But I have the same impression when I read the Digital Foundry article (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-castlevania-lords-of-shadow-face-off).

And what's wrong with not being on par with U2, K2 and GOW3?? The game is still very beautiful.

Maybe not quite on par with U2 and GOW3 but I already stated it loks better than KZ2 in my opinion. KZ2 is so bland I take it down a few notches.

I find it interesting that people are talking about visuals this entire thread, and very few gameplay elements are being discussed...Other than its very god of war like.

Kinda ties back to a post I made earlier... Its a mediocre gameplay game, with not a lot of originality tied together by expensive visuals, cutscenes and production.

You can hide a lot of shortcomings with some pretty visuals and Patrick Stewarts soothing voice lol...
