Movie's are an art form. And this movie was certainly trying to be more than "just a movie".

The wars in the Middle East will not end in any of our life times. One nation at a time will be invaded: Iran, Syria or Pakistan will be next. 

There are soldiers committing war crimes all the time in a foreign combat zone. Raping and killing of innocent civilians. Torturing and interrogation of prisoners.  They are free to do as they please and roam around like ruthless blood thirsty animals. Stray dogs.

These type of  soldiers do not deserve respect. They are traitors to humanity if they commit war crimes. Trial them and  lock them away in prison if they step out of line.

Wait, what? Modern soldiers are not vikings (who actually are quite misunderstood by popular culture, but whatever). War crimes happen but to state wild accusations like "they roam like stray dogs" is inaccurate and ridiculous. Then again, it's not like your reputation around here could drop any further anyway.
