Forums - Gaming - How to actually enjoy the games you play!

Points for online:

1. remember you aren't playing to impress anyone

2. Its not a competition, you are not going to get a prize at the end of the match

3. forget K/D its a waste of time and ruins the experience Completly

4. play with uncompetitive people: its really fun

5. Clam DOWN people stop doing " What the Hell, How did you KiLL me"...throws controller...rage quits. Just take a deep breath and remember its just a game and "Who cares" your friends aren't going to turn around and say "you bad i am not going to be your friend anymore" (your real life ones, as your virtual ones may)

6. Play for the Win and if you Win you Win if you lose you lose, but dont worry if you aren't winning.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I need to add a disclaimer to number 5, which is impossible in Gears of War 2. How anybody plays that game without screaming or bouncing their controller across the room is beyond me.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

nothing will stop me playing K & L 2

so i agree

some people tend to get a bit elitist when it comes to entertainment

and people can still enjoy so called bad games,i know i do

is it that bad? i've played a bit of it before owning a 360 and it was fine, but now i have a 360 i can't get past the "Matchmaking" screen , it keeps telling me that its searching for players.

My own advice:

Buy a game you've never heard of, but that looks interesting. This is how I got Pikmin, the last gen LotR games, Battlefield 1942, Call of Duty 1, Europa Universalis III, and Civilization III, which are now some of my favorite games ever.
