Why would I want to do that with a game htat I enjoy less than other games I could be playing?

because you might actually enjoy it, after all, why do you always ask question that are painfully obvious? =s

It was rhetorical.

The point is that I'm calling the entire premise into question: there is no need to try to enjoy everything. If you do not enjoy it, don't play it. It's that simple.

" if you still don't enjoy it then its not the game that suck, its just not for you."

That way no one can ever have an opinion about a game, but always go for the neutral "it's not for me".

i don't see the problem with that, everyone have an opinion so everyone have different tastes and if you do not like the game because of your "different" taste then its not for you.

Thanks! , everytime i make a thread like this people seem to get worked up for simple misunderstandings, or one simple grammar error. =/

I will take your message to my heart. I need to be reminded of this from time to time. Not over-analazye games, don't look up and read everything about them, keep the novelty etc... well basically what you already wrote in your OP.

We all (99% on a forum like this) need to be reminded of this and take it to heart.

@OP

Your point is moot on all regards when someone who never played video games before would rather play baseball than a video game.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Sometimes a game does suck.

It's understood that when a person says a game sucks, it's according to their own value set.

Trying to regulate the discourse will not lead to greater fulfillment for everyone.

Good points there! Especially the spoilers part, I remember when SCII came out some people complained that they already saw most of the game's cinematics before release. I went in having only seen the first video (Hell, it's about time!) and enjoyed the campaign to the fullest not knowing what was next.

I think this is actully very true, i mean i didnt like Uncharted 2, but i think that had i have played it without looking at so many reviews and stuff i wouldve liked it a lot more. imo i can see why people like it now, but when i first finished it, i really didnt like it, i think following your methodology is actully a very good idea, because some games, like the Prince of Persia 2008, i loved, yet not knowing anything about it, then i found out it was well recieved after i finished it, but i still like it!
