We already know the launch titles for 3DS in Japan (Feb 26th).

* Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS – Nintendo
* Nintendogs + Cats – Nintendo
* Pilotwings Resort – Nintendo
* Pro Baseball Spirits – Konami
* Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle – Level 5
* Ridge Racer 3D – Namco Bandai
* Samurai Warriors Chronicle – Tecmo Koei
* Steel Diver – Nintendo
* Super Monkey Ball – Sega
* Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition – Capcom

We can predict the lifetime sales of these titles.

Your predictions seem sound, though Nintendogs Cats will probably sell over 2m (or at least be very close).

You said lifetime. These.... these aren't lifetime predictions.

Japan only?  I'll say...

* Nintendogs Cats – Nintendo (1.8m)
* Pilotwings Resort – Nintendo (250k)
* Pro Baseball Spirits – Konami (100k)
* Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle – Level 5 (800k)
* Ridge Racer 3D – Namco Bandai (150k)
* Samurai Warriors Chronicle – Tecmo Koei (250k)
* Steel Diver – Nintendo (100k)
* Super Monkey Ball – Sega (50k)
* Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition – Capcom (200k)

 

... I think we'll see decent increases for some series, due to limited selection and new hardware.  Things are always up a little at launch.  I also think SSF4 3DS will outsell the HD versions.

I'm going to state this in the threads that deal with the 3DS' launch line-up.

That list, which on appeared on Softpedia, actually originates from Gamespot, and they state that those games are to be released Spring 2010. Also, it is for Japan.

And if this was the launch line-up you'd think Nintendo would have mentioned it at their conference.
