Pretty good lineup (considering launch lineups are almost always weak). And seems like a big improvement over what the DS started with.

I thought the lineup had Layton in it? How can it be disappointing?

I'm going to state this in the threads that deal with the 3DS' launch line-up.

That list, which on appeared on Softpedia, actually originates from Gamespot, and they state that those games are to be released Spring 2010. Also, it is for Japan.

And if this was the launch line-up you'd think Nintendo would have mentioned it at their conference.

^ Yeah, but Driver also was stated for a Spring 2010 release, and it's not mentioned on the list. I really want to play Driver on the  3DS, even if nobody else does :(

Well we don't know if that list is applicable for America and Europe but if it is, it's fine. I mean there's only one game I was going to get at launch, either LoZ OoT or Paper Mario, which is such a hard decision but since only one is there, makes my choice really easy.

If that's the line up after a delayed launch I can see why they delayed it.

That's Japan I assume.  For me it wouldn't be strong enough to get me to buy a 3DS.   I do want Pilot Wings and maybe Steel Diver, but neither is a MUST own or a strong showcase for the 3D (although I'm sure it's cool in PW). 

Of course, I might just get the 3DS for the 3D

Of that list, it seems a bit minuscule to me. I would probably only pick up Zelda, I haven't really played any of the other series.
