Forums - General - Post your favourite TED talks

I thought I would start a thread where people can come to share their favourite TED talks.

If you've never heard of TED I can recommend going to their website and watching a few of the talks that take your fancy or watching some posted in these threads. They are usually fascinating talks on some interesting or hot topics by an expert in that field.

But I'm sure many of you know TED and have a few favourites you would like to share.

I'll get the ball rolling...

Not my favorite speech but definitely a unique one

                      The definitive evidence that video games turn people into mass murderers

I'm really into infrastructure/energy improvements......I've heard audio of talks about Joule Biotechnologies  -- a company that supposedly has a cheap3 ( 50/barrel  of oil equivalent) ,   one of the talks on healing concrete,  and the smart grid, and any ethanol talks are great as well.

I love the Clifford Stoll talk. As you say it's not the best, but it's certainly exciting.

I haven't watched too many - actually, haven't even finished the ones here (I will once I have time), but the first TED talk I've seen was one a friend linked to me, will never forget it:

Love this guy!

Actually was gonna post this earlier but wanted to finish the videos above first, a shame this thread hasn't got more attention~!

@Cord

Thats not surprising considering we have constant threads from certain, lets say lacking individuals, who bring up the most baffling topics that can be discredited by any intelligent grade schooler but still get a massive amount of attention.
