I tend to use IE 8 and 9 (Beta) now I actually rarely have issues with IE but this site is the exception to the rule. Compatibility mode used to be requirement but now it is a hinderance. The problems that I have noticed are..

On the main page I cannot right click on a forum thread but I can right click if the thread has the last page option. This occurs in IE8 and 9

When posting using IE9 I sometimes cannot post my comment using the quick reply. Also I cannot edit a post. The problem appears to be focus. This problem only appears in IE9 not a problem with IE8.

Android - I cannot post into the text boxes in the forums as the text box is not recognised as a text box.

The problems appear inconsistent as I have no trouble posting into new items.

Also lastly the Gamerprint ad must get a ridiculous number of accidental hits. The footprint of the add is so large it actually making clicking on links within Andriod hit and miss often the Gamerprint page turns up as the link.

The IE9 issues are replicated on both my Office PC and Home PC. The common theme being the Anti Virus (sophos) plugin.

Solution - get some FREE and FAST browsers that works, its not like choosing camp PS3 or XBOX, you can have as many browsers on your PC as you want.

Firefox:

Installation is as easy as 123, Im not asking you to try Ubuntu Linux here.

As for Android, try Opera Mini, its been the best browser on my WM6.1 Xperia and then my Iphone, I believe it may work wonder in your Android.

I prefer IE9 its fast and every other website works fine this is the only forum that it does not work with. Also it is the only forum I cannot post to from my Android phone. Where as I am sure the numbers of visitors to this site using alternative web browsers is higher than a normal consumer focused website I am also sure that the number of IE visitors will be very high and next year when IE9 is released will be higher again.

The incompatibility could be the browser as it is still beta but that does not explain the problems with Android so I am thinking it is probably something worth correcting or at the least investigating.

Interestingly of late I can post a lot easier through IE9 not sure if you have made some changes but I know you announced a shedload of upcoming change. Or it could be that I have learnt the knack. I know that if I enter a return before hitting reply I will for example be able to post this reply via IE9.
