Resistance 3 will sell at least 2M before the year ends.

Killzone 3 will sell 3-4M before the year ends.

SOCOM 4 will sell 2-3M before the year ends.

Uncharted 3 will sell 4-5M before year ends.

 

there'll be 45M PS3s out there by the end of this year y'know.

Possibly, But CoD traditionally launches in Nov and Mark Rein tweeted today that Gears 3 would launch in sept, which gives it a pretty good window for sales.


I didn't know it was Sept. Thanks for correcting me! So it'll have a month of good sales before getting smacked!

Uncharted 2 wont get close to Gears 2.

Gears 2 currently sits at 5.9 Million units sold. Will sell over 6 Million before Gears 3 releases too, probably.

I can't see Uncharted 2 hitting 5 Million really. If it does I will be really surprised. Suppose we will have a better idea after this Holiday season is said and done.

i think we can agree that unchated 2 will pass 4 million this holiday , close to 4.1-4.2. ...i think selling 800-900k on its next few years on market is not unreasonable, especially considering its metacritic, goty edition(a similar edition bumped fallout 3s sales up 500k), its almost certaintly going to be bundled at some point(this holiday, next holiday, holiday u3 comes out) and its continued legs(15-20k 50 plus weeks after launch), and of course the u3 sequel boost(which raised uncharted 1 numbers by upwards of 300k.

and by close i mean more than a million away lol, a 5 million seller and a 6-6.5 million seller i would consider close especially considering the 360s advantage in america. i recognize gears is a bigger seller but what im saying is that its not as big a difference as most make it.

but i agree if uncharted 2 does not hit at least 4 million by years end i will forgo by 5 million estimate.

edit: the games only been on market a year guys. 3.8 million (estimate) in a year.(forgot it launched it october.-edited againlol)

KZ3 added install base=1 Mil SALES!FIRST WEEK.

UN3 added install base=1.5 MIL SALES!FIRST WEEK.

I don't know dude I think Uncharted 2 could well reach 5 million. Its only 1.32 million away and selling about 15-20k per week which is decent. But it'll get a solid sales boost when the GOTY edition comes out and another good sales boost when it eventually becomes a greatest hits title and drops to $20 and of course a final boost before sales die when Uncharted 3 comes out and people go buy the first 2 Uncharted games if they haven't already.
