Man I didn't think so many fights would start over my post. I said Sony would be stealing the idea of a 3D handheld with glasses free 3D. Mainly because theirs no way they could sell glasses for the system. As a Nintendo Exec told me herself Nintendo and Sharp are pioneering the new glasses free screens they designed themselves. Sure their are some glasses free screens availible right now but none that give the true 3D feel.

Why do I think Sony steals ideas? Because Sony does, look at Move as a perfect example. Sony used to pioneer new products but it seems they have fallen a bit behind and instead of developing new things they are producing products their competition offer.

Now just because I think Sony steals ideas does that mean that the company is bad or worthless? No I don't think so. Its natural for companies to try and offer their consumers all of the services the competition does just look at Zynga.

P.S - I think its too late for Sony to incorporate 3D on the PSP2. With dev kits already shipped out they would have only had a few months to begin work on said technology and that couldn't be developed this quickly. Though I do think they will have a screen similiar to the I-Phone.

you seem to be ignoring the fact the big companies like SONY employ corporate spies and other business connections (manufacturers developers etc) to find out what the competition is up to, they have probably known about the 3DS for months longer than we have known.

Problem is Sony was developing Move as early as 2004 (we've seen the videos)

I know its not "stealing" unless Sony does it, but companies copy each other ideas all the time,

for example the 3DS will feature an analog stick similar to the PSP.

I can get my trashy webcam to track my dogs lollipop and then triggering actions when a specific shape is recognized using some ordinary software. Which is exactly what that infamous laughable """"""proof"""""" video shows.

I asked this to Leo-j in another thread but he couldn't stand up for the massive pwnage and leaved the thread... so  I ask this to you:

If Sony were working on a wiimote like controller back in 2004, why did they dropped this pearl in early 2007?:

"I think the notion of that controller [wiimote] is a non-trivial point that you’ve brought up, that control and that familiarity is like comfort food - from my perspective, we lead, we don’t follow. And as a brand, Nintendo’s got their thing, and we’re not trying to get the senior citizen group to get into gaming"

"but we’d never consider iterating off of existing competitive technology - because we think that’s a fad and that’s not the way we approach product development. It’s not the way we approach the marketing or the branding of PlayStation."

The video is a fake (lol i didn't expect someone would say that)

Because they thought people weren't ready for motion controlled games and Ninty showed them other wise

Sony tried to play it safe because they came out wining last gen and Nintendo knew it had to try new things to

win (and they did).

That guy who designed the Move (forgot his name) himself said they credit the Wii for showing them that.

You're giving me reason at all...? I'm confused now, I don't get your stance on this.

What do you mean?

Like i said Ninty showed the world that people are ready for motion control games.

Sony had the technology, but it didn't believe itwas the time for it

There would be no Move (or Kinect) this gen if it wasn't for the Wii (Fact)
