Yes cause everyone knows that Sony invented 3D and it hasn't really been around for 60 years. |
The point was that if the PSP2 had 3D, you can't really say it's SONY copying Nintendo since they were pushing for 3D gaming before Nintendo even announced a 3D effort.
How long 3D's been around is irrelevant.

My dream PSP2 specs would be:-
-CPU: Cortex A9 single core, clocked @ 830Mhz, although for gaming they can down clock to 333mhz, or even the 3DS's 266Mhz, but still get more performance out of the chip for the same frquency.
-GPU: PowerVR SGX 540 with 8MB VRam
-Resolution: 4inch touch sreen, 800×480, using the Super AMOLED tech, No 3D*
-Main memory: 512MB, although for gaming it will locked to either 64/128, the rest is used for other apps and in game XMB
-internalt storage: 16GB, expandible to an extra 32GB via SD card
-Game Storage Format: Flash based cartridges, 2GB standard, but they can go higher or lower depending on game requiremnets. All games can be installed on the PSP2 and can be played with out requiring the cartridge, however, upon installing the game, the cartrige is locked and only the PSP2 it was installed on can see it and unlock it, but unlocking will delete the install file.
-battery: 1500 mAh, it should last a good 6 hours depending on the games/apps used**
*I hate 3D in all it's flavours, it brings nothing to the table but gimmicky crap, I'd rather the performace taken up by 3D to be used on the actual game it's self...I will only accept 3D in it's holygraphics form XD
**just a guess XD

it's true! i dreamed it was well, and they gonna give it away for free and pay you to play the games
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

hey this is about nintendo and SONY lol, of course we could just go back and forth using earlier and earlier examples from over the decades (stereoscopy has been used for over a hundred years BTW) of stereoscopic 3D if you want.

No that's why Nintendo launched Virtual Boy even before Sony made any sort of console.
Man I didn't think so many fights would start over my post. I said Sony would be stealing the idea of a 3D handheld with glasses free 3D. Mainly because theirs no way they could sell glasses for the system. As a Nintendo Exec told me herself Nintendo and Sharp are pioneering the new glasses free screens they designed themselves. Sure their are some glasses free screens availible right now but none that give the true 3D feel.
Why do I think Sony steals ideas? Because Sony does, look at Move as a perfect example. Sony used to pioneer new products but it seems they have fallen a bit behind and instead of developing new things they are producing products their competition offer.
Now just because I think Sony steals ideas does that mean that the company is bad or worthless? No I don't think so. Its natural for companies to try and offer their consumers all of the services the competition does just look at Zynga.
P.S - I think its too late for Sony to incorporate 3D on the PSP2. With dev kits already shipped out they would have only had a few months to begin work on said technology and that couldn't be developed this quickly. Though I do think they will have a screen similiar to the I-Phone.
