360, ps3 or wii ain't a beast but the ds is...i guess it'll be able to sell 200milion at total!?...
yes the wii is going to bomb this holiday, all they have is DKC,Just Dance2,Wii party and epic mickey to move hardware.
Yes just forget history..lol

It will. It is different from the wii, MS is putting 100s of millions of dollars in to marketing, they have Disney, Chevy, Sprint, T-mobile, Justin Bieber, NCIS:LA, Entourage, and other shows promoting it.

xbox 360 again above ps3 and wii, since June, good sales overall
Nintendo just fucked up this year, well the first 9-10 months anyways.
For the Wii... Ds is fantastic!

I don't think people are underestimating the holiday boost for Wii, I think they are considering if maybe Move and Kinect will take some of it. We will not know until after the holidays but IF
people are getting bored with Wii and IF they see Move and Kinect as new and interesting then some of that "Nintendo" boost could be a PS3 or 360 boost.
Anyone that looks at it objectively has to admit that this is the weakest the Wii has ever entered a holiday and the first time there are competing motion controls. Considering that it is reasonable to think some of the big boost is going to get spread around a little more then in the past.
Personally I think Sony and MS may just get really lucky hear and catch people that are starting to feel that itch for a Wii HD and see Move or Kinect as something that can fill it.
I in no way think it will be a full switch over from Wii to PS360 but I do think this holiday is going to see the three a lot closer to parity then ever before.

Wait, you don't think GT5 will push PS3 hardware? |
GT5 will push hardware for a couple weeks, king of like Halo Reach, but it isn't going to have a massive weekly sales boost. I honestly can't think of a single game that has ever had an effect that has lasted more than a few weeks.
I think 360 sales are supressed right now. They will rise on the week Kinect comes out.
If you are one of those people who want a new 360 console and are interested in Kinect, then you would probably pre-order the consol/kinect bundle to save $50. Same for potential new 360 owners, given Microsoft's marketing the past few months most would fall in the casual Kinect category.
I would think some existing 360 owners who are interested in Fable III may be waiting for a Fable bundle. Same with Sony fans on GT5.
Nintendo really has to pull the trigger on a price cut soon. We are currently in the Wii doom and gloom phase for the first time this generation. 360 went through it successfully, PS3 went through it sucessfully. Now its Wii's turn. What can they do to reverse their current slide? I don't think Metroid Other M and Donkey Kong Country is enough.
The current PSP is dead. As much as I like my PSP more then DS it is time admit, Nintendo DS kicked its butt this generation and 3DS will probably kick it more.
