Metroid is totally different. It's a lot more like an HD game, with all the cutscenes, dialouge and focus on story, exactly the type of game that Wii gamers don't like. DKC will sell 10x the amount of Other M.

Halo Reach closing in on 5 million and the 360 still going strong despite lackluster of sales in Japan.

Today Reach faces a much more competitive market. COD 2 has only one year, BF BC2 , MOH and Black Ops are closer. 

If we consider that this generation will end in 2 or 3 years that is possible. But we have to wait time do its magic. It will probably be bundled and lots of DLC (spoiler-> what happened to Jun??) and new maps.

I think, by the and of the hollyday season Reach will be close to 9mi ww.

Well I'm not much of a betting man, plus I'd rather not make myself look like a fool if I'm wrong :P. It would be impossible to measure the numbers anyway, since we can't really corelate the exact relationship between the usual holiday boost from the DKC effect itself.

But anyway, the main reason I say Zelda won't move as much hardware is because it'll likely be released during a slow period, whereas DKC will be released during the holiday season. Also, DKC is very similar to NSMB, which single handedly reinvigorated Wii sales up to today. Zelda will be very big with the core Wii gamer, but DKC will have more of an appeal for the expanded audience, as well as the core. I'm just looking at the evidence. I think Zelda will have more Galaxy like sales (7-8 million) and DKC will sell more similar to NSMB (10-12 million).

no it's not like a HD game, what screens you been looking at recently?? also from what i hear the controls are a pain and samus is not the samus they love, i will hve to try it and see as i love metroic since GC

That's actually a narrow question. We've got Zelda as the definitive motion title, but gunning behind Donkey Kong we've got a tremendous looking title and the possibility to pull NSMBWii numbers. If DK gets into NSMBW territory, there'll be no stopping it, and any comparison to Zelda would be an insult if that happened

Depends on a lot of things. Nintendo should have a strong season for all that, and just last year saw them pick up from a similarly weak pre-holiday run into an explosive season.

I meant the gameplay style, obviously not the graphics.. :/ 

But yeah, I really think besides the long cut scenes, the awkward controls are the other reason the game is bombing. That just sounds weird to hold the wiimote like and NES controller for the moving then point it at the screen for shooting in 1st person. That's the main reason I passed on this game at least. This game had all the signs of a bomb.

You shoudn't underestimate power of Gran Turismo. We love cars in Europe. GT5 will be massive here. I have  question for Americans. Why can't you make  good cars?
