Wow for those who only own a 360 this is going to be a year to test your faith in solely owning a 360. The Wii and PS3 will be bathing in exclusives.

Both systems have quality games. Sony will just have more quality games in 2011 where as Microsoft will have a quality game that will have  to be waited on until fall.

So I'm assuming everyone is throwing out multiplats for some unknown reason? There are other good games out there besides only exclusives. In fact 2011 will  be so loaded with good multiplats most people won't be able to afford them all. Just because its a multiplat doesn't mean we need to ignore the game because its not only 360 exclusive. The 360 is going to have plenty of games coming out, just not a boatload of exclusives.

Yeah just from the short amount of footage I've seen of Gears 3 it looked amazing. I can't wait to see some more footage of this game. Definitely going to be up for best console graphics.

I've already noted multiplats and found them irrelevant to true system value because they exist regardless . The 360 will have a boatload of exclusives, but they they will not be AAA nor for the core crowd.

Their focus has shifted a bit. They're really pushing Kinect and they may REALLY do that between Nov 2010 and the Fall of next year, to really get the message across. They probably have Forza 4 (or PRG5), Gears 3, and maybe Crytek's exclusive for their core fans, and leave the Jan - Sept months to let mutliplats and Kinect do the talking against Sony & Nintendo.


I don't think that crytek game will be ready until 2012 at least. Ain't Crytek still working on Crysis 2. They probabley only have a team of 10 working on the 360 exclusive. Also if Sonys main focus was on move next year only and all the PS3 was getting was multiplat then I'd be a very pissed off PS3 owner. Miscrosofts handing over sales to the PS3 with that delay

We are talking about 5 1/2 years into this console generation. If you truly think any of these upcoming exclusives are going to be console sellers and for that matter make the PS3 outsell the 360 you are mistaken. After GT5 PS3 has no more big console sellers. LBP2, KZ3, Infamous 2, etc are not going to sell consoles. Its all about price now.

....Ummmmmm....what are you talking about? It's selling well on both systems. Modern Warfare isn't a gauge of true system value. It is a gauge of the quality of FPS as a whole and Halo Reach in my eyes is far more addictive. This is why Sony made a press conference the day Bungie went multiplat (Remember?). Because of the fact that Sony and Microsoft have such a close resemblence in games the only true value is in exclusives to set them apart. This is why I stated multiplatforms are irrelevent. Why? Because regardless of the console their existence is guaranteed. Your modern warfare comment is the void point.
