BTW since you guys played PSmove(well some of you owns it already) does the gladiator game require 2 move to play or navi?

2 moves are not necessary, with 1 move you control the sword, the ai does the shield for you, however having 2 moves on gladiator is so much better!!

Some changes are needed here , you wouldn't be able to track Move bundles anymore , you should change that to Units and Secondary controllers , the way VGC does it , but oh ... you're not here :(

Well I've just ordered a Starter Pack, a Nav controller and Sports Champions Resort so you can add 1 of each to the list lol.

Once dual analog users start to get pwned by Move users online playing MAG, Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 you'll see the adoption rate of Move sky rocket. Pointer controls are faster, smoother and more accurate than dual analog sticks. We'll also hopefully see either Move support at launch or a patch available for Black Ops and the new Medal of Honor games too I expect.

Those having any doubts about pointer controls being far superior to dual analog controls for shooters may want to take a look at this, done by a guy called Indy on the IGN forums a while ago - 9 targets (8 smaller than a headshot) hit in 1.8 seconds:

i think we need to one for move as well maybe i can get my friend to help me out, as she is an expert ds3 shooter on re5 move, but yet i am faster (still getting used to improving my accuracy with move) then my friend and my ratings are higher, even tho it's only my first playthrough!!

is there anything i can use to record gameplay, that does not cost me a fortune??

Not too sure mate, it was a guy called Indy from the IGN forums that recorded this. There's no chance I'd be able to even press the fire button 9 times in 1.8 seconds let alone aim and hit anything lol. Try having a look at the GeoVid web site, looks like he used a free/demo bit of software given the logo over the top.

I'm hoping that the bad reviews for Medal of Honor are going to result in EA adding a Move compatible patch to try and get some more sales...and then Treyarch will add it to Black Ops because Medal of Honor has it lol. I'm really surprised that none of likes of IGN, Eurogamer, Gamespot or CVG have asked the developers of each game about a Move patch. It only took Zipper Interactive 6 weeks to write the core code for the Move part of the patch, mainly because AI's LiveMove2 basically writes all of the code for them. Quite a handy and impressive piece of middleware imo.

Oh well this thread is a complete disaster I have to completely overhaul it after reading the news about 1.5m in europe and 1m in latin americas sales news

I already have changed my formula, my estimation hits at 1.95m move's sold as on page one, wait a moment i will post it further down here as well, than leaves around .55m stock spare, sounds about right considering some countriries don't have 100% move sell through

 My move sales analysis

Europe

With SCEE reporting 1.5m moves sold, and in Italy alone the rate of purchase of moves was 60%, if every single country had a similar rate of purchase (which likely it did not as some countries had 100% purchase), you are looking at a minimum of 900k move sales definitely sold through to the customer, with a maximum of up to 1.2m moves as there will be plenty of moves hanging around still in some countries

America

With recent reports flooding in of one million moves at least shipped out to america, and SCEA are having to increase production, as there are lots of shortages, you can pretty much gurantee that that 1 million is nearly sold, therefore I estimate at least 900k due to shortages

Japan

No sales data yet

Possible Total Sales by my estimations

I am going to take the middle value of my estimation for europe which will be 1.05 million, and for America I will leave it at 900k, giving us a total of 1.95m move sales according to my estimations

Let me know if you are not happy with my estimations

Are you saying its 390k and VGC are saying its 300k?

Apologies I havent been paying attention to move sales much...

Explain it to me again if you can.

No according to vgc 300k is only for starter kits, but work out about 25% of starter kits and that is your standalone figure as vgc said 25% of sales was standalone moves, but they was never added onto the running total...

I calculated mine differently by using attach ratio which currently is 80%, then work out 25% of that and add it on, make sense now?? (I hope it does)

So starter kits is 75%... and standalone 25%

The problem I have with any move tracking is that its a guess.

Standalone sales of 10,000 could be 10,000 users (very unlikley) or 5000 users.  Are people buying one or two? Are they buying one to go along with their starter kit?  In short... too many variables for this kind of tally to be accurate.

But I'm not going to rain on your parade... Carry on.

i'd say thats my problem with move is sells in general! i still fill that they should have sold move as a hole package but thats just me!

on the other hand well done jneul. i beleive ur spot on.
