umm EA 

an EA- SONY partership would result in a future Console domination of the Industry, with EA pumping out Exclusives for Sony next console then it would result in massive sales and a console bigger than PS2. 

But really thats isn't going to be happening unless Sony have a few billion lying around

lol, about the EA comment, thats simply too unrealistic imo. personally i could see MS releasing Remedy, and Sony could pick that up, because of the sales of Alan Wake, which imo wouldve sold better on the PS3. and really dissappointing for Remedy who spent 4 years on AW, other than that... i dont really think they need to aquire any more studios. so many developers go multiplat now anyway, and have started leading on the PS3, its unnecessary to aquire any more... however i would like them to outsource first party licenses to studios, i would love to see something like Legend of Dragoon 2 made by Level 5, maybe SE, but remain exclusive at the same time.

yea ^^ i know it isn't really going to happen since Activison was bought for something around 1-2 billion by a French media giant who also owns Blizzard

Capcom would be pretty cheap right now since of recent poor sales but still companies wont sell. 

but for a dev  splash damage is a good one

Well, most of those would be nothing short of impossible to aquire. For example, Sony should aquire Nintendo but that's not going to happen >_>

I'd say the great yet plausable choices are Q-games (pixeljunk series), Thatgamecompany (Flow, Flower, Journy) and/or Sucker punch (Sly, Infamous)

Very possible we'll see this happen in the future IMO
