hey guys, i don't know if you guys have noticed but i haven't been on in a while. Well, i am on a break from gaming in general till black friday xD (i cannot freaking wait, i miss my ps3 so much!!!). Anyways, i am currently thinking of buying a laptop.

i am thinking of spending 500-700$....and i need something with more than 250gb. I am not looking for high end, just enough to run photoshop and do school work on. I looked at some and i just don't want to buy it without knowing what i am getting into (i don't -_-), i just want the best with what i can spend.

strange the usual crowd didn't show up. I don't have a lot of experience with laptops but one piece of advice that is always good is, do your home work. Make sure you read reviews etc and if possible try before you buy, make sure it meats you needs.

I've been more than happy with my Macbook for college, but I know it's more than you want to spend.

I really don't know much about computers but I'll give ya a bump. Just wait until the PC guys get in here.

Just so I don't clog the forum with a very similar thread; I was wondering if the M11x is a good choice for a gaming laptop? I looked an some Asus ones as well, and the specs are a little better, but they also have crappy battery life compared to the M11x from alienware. No to mention that cool as shit lightshow
